Responsible for developing content strategies for the creation, structure, delivery and management of ALSAC web content to meet business goals and user needs. Takes a user-first and mobile-first approach to deliver quality content that drives customer engagement on stjude.org and other websites. Includes serving as lead collaborator with fundraising partners to develop web content strategies and key deliverables such as stakeholder interviews, content briefs, page tables, user flows, editorial style guides and governance plans. Creates and curates core web content and content hierarchy for distribution among web channels. Understands various web media and promotional channels, such as social and email, and provides key content to meet the marketing needs of each. Writes copy and edits copy of junior content strategists. Oversees content production work in the content management system. Works closely with internal partners to adapt print content for the web and ensures source content adheres to content strategies and style guides. Implements and upholds brand standards on stjude.org and other microsites. Works with teams to create technical requirements for components and templates in the content management system (CMS), and serves as business owner for the CMS author experience. Develops content for online fundraising promotions, banner ads, dynamic news and other online campaigns. Leads content editorial meetings to schedule, budget and secure web content. Trains users on the CMS, and creates documentation. Assists in key Internet/CMS projects to streamline and improve website and CMS usage. Mentors junior content specialists
