    Job Purpose

    Responsible for compiling and analyzing information for developing and revising data processing applications used in software development. Works with users, Business Systems Analysts, Database Administrators, Software Engineers and Project Managers to assess needs and conduct preliminary studies and design of applications.

    Requirements

    • Substantial knowledge of computers including UNIX, NT, Oracle, Developer 2000, and PL/SQL
    • Basic Java, Perl and an understanding of XML is a plus
    • Knowledgeable of PC’s, Windows and PC based management systems
    • Must be well versed in the current application development techniques, such as object oriented and client/server
    • Requires knowledge on process modeling, data modeling, database design, specification creation
    • Knowledge in project planning, management and deployment is a plus
    • Must be well versed in the current application development techniques, such as object oriented and client/server
    • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, mathematics, or related field and 5-8 years technical, analytical, systems and programming experience
    • Must possess a valid driver's license
