Job Purpose

Works under the direction of the Manager of Interactive Quality Assurance, and with Product Managers, Development teams, Architects, Business Analysts, and Quality Assurance (iQA and ITS QA) engineers to plan, execute, and/or oversee the day-to-day quality assurance and testing activities that ensure that ALSAC web/interactive products meet the quality expected. Responsible for analyzing written requirements, development team's analysis, and architecture and design artifacts to plan and execute the necessary testing efforts for assigned projects. Responsible for maintaining a working knowledge of the industries’ best practices in Quality Assurance, Validation and Testing, and Test Automation; mentoring and providing on-the-job training to junior QA staff members of quality assurance and testing processes/procedures. 


  • Strong understanding of technical change control methods and techniques, and technical service management
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skill and critical thinking abilities, as well as strong research and analytical skills
  • Must have good time management skills and be self-motivated and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have capacity to learn new technologies
  • Understand complex verbal or written instructions
  • Possesses the ability to work effectively and mentor junior team members
  • Must be well organized and able to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Quality Assurance/Control, or Business, and 5 - 7 years of combining technical, analytical, and functional experience, including experience in E-Commerce/Internet applications
