Job Purpose

The Performance Management and Career Development Consultant is responsible for partnering to develop, design and implement strategic people solutions across the complete employee lifecycle from selection and onboarding, to learning and development, to performance management and succession planning. This role will partner closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and Shared Services. As an informed consultant, the OD Advisor cultivates meaningful working relationships and commitment through exemplary consultative skills, delivers competency-based structured learning and leadership effectiveness programs, leads or supports career development, teambuilding, and succession management activities; Works with division leaders to determine needs and carry out developmental activities; Analyzes and reports on organization development effectiveness; Serves in a teaching and mentoring capacity for Senior OD Specialists and OD Specialists. 


  • Requires thorough knowledge of general management methods and HR "best practices".
  • Familiar with Lominger competencies preferred along with working in a competency-based environment where competencies are used as a basis to deliver employee education, training assessment tools.
  • Curriculum design for adult students in a corporate environment.
  • Experience with Workday Learning Management System would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of advanced human resources principles, HR laws and Best Practice managerial philosophies and techniques is preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
  • Experience with the use of various audio/visual multimedia and learning tools; understand complex verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of products and use of PowerPoint specifically
  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years training/development experience or 5 years of work experience as Career Counselor, Guidance Counselor, Talent Consultant, Recruiter or related role.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
