Job Purpose

Reporting to the Director of Innovation to perform and support the planning, managing and delivery of formal and informal innovation projects and associated deliverables in support of enterprise objectives. Includes project planning, defining scope of work, execution, and implementation of projects. Responsible for project-oriented work efforts that support innovation team projects; ensuring on time, within budget, and high quality standards delivery that meet expectations. Responsible for working closely with assigned innovation project teams and, when applicable, cross-divisional staff. Responsible for overall team scheduling, coordination, and status reporting of innovation team activities. Able to work in a highly collaborative environment and comfortable navigating ambiguity.

Requirements

  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years’ business experience supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail, experience in project facilitation, and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within a high-performance work environment.
  • Able to work with the Director of Innovation to drive strategic priorities.
  • Strong problem solving ability.
  • Very strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable presenting; understands complex verbal and written instructions
  • Proficient with programs used for visual and dynamic presentations including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated success or aptitude towards supporting and delivering new initiatives through a cross-functional team.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, creative insight and problem-solving skills with strong reasoning capability.
  • Ability to support teams and individuals to strive toward high levels of achievement.
