Job Purpose

Responsible for the strategic development and management of ALSAC fundraising programs on a national and multi-regional level. Serves as the primary person to oversee the strategies for current and future growth of programs by establishing and overseeing current business plans, policies, and procedures.

  • Develops extensive analysis of Field Operations programs’ short-term and long-term goals and what factors will contribute to or impede the ability to obtain those goals. This includes identifying programs strengths and weaknesses, finding areas for improvement or considering consequences of not implementing new strategies.
  • Suggests changes for programs by providing comprehensive reports regarding improvements or changes needed to reach current and future goals set forth in the strategic five-year plan. Programs include, but are not limited to Radio, Dream Home, Collegiate Programs, Promotions and Groups & Orgs. 
  • Works hand-in-hand with the Vice President of Field Operations and the Executive Director of Field Management to implement strategies within Field Ops programs.

Requirements

  • Requires thorough knowledge of fundraising and general management methods within non-profit field
  • Speaks and writes in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations
  • Understands extremely complex verbal or written instructions
  • Understands data processing applications
  • Must possess excellent diplomacy skills
  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through Bachelor's Degree plus 8-10 years of experience in the field of fundraising/business development, including previous experience through levels of progressive management responsibility including supervision, budgeting, strategic planning, organizational development, cost control, manpower allocation, etc., and special events fundraising
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
