Job Purpose

Official Title: Intern - ECC Donor Engagement

Location: University of Memphis Campus (Billy Mac Jones Building)

Pay Rate: $10.10 hourly

 

Responsible for communicating through various channels (including but not limited to phone, email, chat, text and social media) to individuals, businesses, and organizations on behalf of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in support of the mission of savings children’s lives.

Requirements

This call center is located on the University of Memphis Campus. Applicants for this posting must be an actively enrolled student at the University of Memphis.

 

  • Ability to speak and write in English in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Ability to listen and understand verbal/written instructions or information and accurately input data.
  • Ability to use call center telephony systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic computer skills and call center data entry.
  • Proven ability to build relationships using excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrates independent judgment in daily activities. Knowledge and ability to use internet based applications and mainstream social media products such as Twitter, Facebook, Skype.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
