Job Purpose

Responsible for assisting the Information Security Officer with the overall development and operational management of ALSAC’s enterprise information security program. Directs a team of security analysts and architects to execute the InfoSec strategic plan including establishment and enforcement of security policies and standards. Provides leadership direction over the analysis and reporting on information security concerns, risks and evolving threats. Provides leadership and consultation to the systems administrators, network engineers, solution architects, software engineers and other ITS team members.


  • Requires thorough knowledge of information security practices and technologies
  • Ability to speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal and external relations
  • Understand extremely complex verbal or written instructions
  • Understand information security issues dealing with computer hardware, software, and infrastructure
  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through attainment of a Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Systems plus 10+ years of progressive information security experience privacy and/or compliance experience required and 5+ years of direct management experience required
  • Information security certification, such as, CISSP, CISA or CISM preferred
