Job Purpose

Responsible for logistical management and oversight of the day-to-day activities associated with the revenue generation, performance and expense management of National Direct Marketing’s cultivation and retention programs.  Uses understanding of direct marketing techniques to ensure optimal revenue and donor objectives are met.  Implements integrated, multi-channel strategies targeted to raise more than $380 million in gross revenue and increase donor experience and brand awareness.  Works with team of internal and selected external partners to implement strategies in compliance with stated donor goals.  Supports the liaisons on the Direct Response team. 

Requirements

  • Requires thorough knowledge of direct marketing best practices in support of ensuring brand integrity
  • Knowledge and experience in emerging marketing platforms and channels including digital (interactive, social and mobile among others)
  • Requires excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in strategy development, and ability to work cross-functionally within a high performance work environment
  • Speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations
  • Thorough knowledge of English spelling, grammar and usage
  • Understand extremely complex verbal or written instructions
  • Thorough grasp of rhetorical tools used in marketing communications
  • Excellent typing skills
  • General knowledge of purchasing and inventory control
  • Requires the ability to problem solve and develop innovative solutions
  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through bachelor's degree and 4 years of combined fundraising and marketing experience
  • Requires a valid driver's license.
