Job Purpose

Responsible to establish the strategic direction of a web software application product.  Leads the iProduct team to manage all aspects of the product platform including but not limited to; working with upper management and key stakeholders to define the product strategy and 3 year roadmap, maintaining product specific project plans, negotiating product feature requirements, ensuring product quality, turning requirements into detailed system design,  coordinating product software releases and resolving product defects. Responsible to translate technical jargon to train internal teams and key stakeholders on product features with an emphasis on how the features translate to business benefits. Works collaboratively with the iServices and iDevelopment teams to manage the product platform. Manages all such efforts through the Director of Interactive Product.

Requirements

  • Experience with third party databases, libraries, interfaces, and internet protocols
  • Understanding of Internet software engineering principles and techniques
  • Proficiency with web servers, HTML authoring, web infrastructure
  • Knowledge of SOLARIS,  Windows, Java, JDBC, Java Script, JSP, PL/SQL, XML, UNIX-Shell Scripting, Apache, Oracle, Weblogic
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Knowledge of Internet hardware, software and firewall set up
  • Ability to articulate both marketing and IT needs/issues to all groups
  • Knowledge of web technology skills
  • Good knowledge of e-Business, e-Commerce, and e-Marketing techniques
  • Ability to interact well with team members and business users
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Requires knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 6-8 years of experience in internet management and information technology experience, including work with web-based applications
  • Requires a valid driver's license
