Job Purpose

Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations for the Employee Engagement Optimization team. This includes managing the gift entry processes and donor stewardship operations such as: Matching Gifts claims processing and reconciliation; Employee Engagement check processing; and donor data management.


  • Responsible for managing, hiring and training staff, including but not limited to: monitoring the volume and quality of the work, workforce planning, employee performance standards and incentives, and accuracy of all data entered into donor management system.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing gift processing policies and procedures and developing/implementing appropriate measurements to improve the quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of department’s gift processing procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining security of sensitive donor and employee information, manage department budget and business plans related to Employee Engagement Optimization processes.


  • Requires a knowledge of fundraising, marketing and public relations, very strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comprehension of difficult verbal and written instructions
  • Working knowledge of data processing applications (Microsoft Word, Excel) and Web browsers and navigation (Microsoft Internet Explorer)
  • Requires a relatively high degree of concentration in marketing, public relations, sales, creative knowledge and fundraising skills to retain and grow partnerships
  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years or more of management in sales, public relations, marketing, or non profit experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
