Job Purpose

Under the supervision of the Associate Director, Office & Fleet Operations the Fleet Management Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day activities and oversight of ALSAC’s fleet vehicles. Responsibilities include maintaining the ARI Insights system, maintain relationship with 3rd party service providers, program analysis and reporting, procurement and disposal, maintenance, licensing, fuel management, driver safety, mileage reporting, and enforcement of ALSAC policies and procedures to meet compliance requirements. Coordinates with the ALSAC Legal, Human Resources and Safety departments to ensure that all personal mileage reimbursement, accident reporting, insurance, and registration requirements are met. Assists with budget preparation as requested. 

Requirements

  • Requires extensive knowledge of fleet management strategies, policies and practices, including preventive maintenance, warranty coverage, repair costs, accident management and prevention programs, including driver safety programs and driver training.
  • Requires basic understanding of vehicle systems to be able to authorize repairs.
  • Requires strong knowledge of fleet management information systems, industry trends and fleet performance standards for performing assessments and preparing action plans.
  • Requires strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management, suppliers and outside vendors.
  • Requires strong analytical skills to conduct analysis and make recommendations.
  • Requires advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.  
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required, preferably in the field of accounting or finance. 
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in fleet management or related industry required.
