Job Purpose

The Sr. Compensation Analyst will work under limited oversight to support the implementation, establishment, and ongoing review of the organization’s compensation policies and practices in partnership with management as they relate to the organization’s short-term and strategic plans.

Requirements

  • Requires knowledge of compensation theory and practice including salary range structures; job description development and evaluation; performance evaluation systems and procedures; wage and hour law.
  • Knowledge of job analysis and techniques and multi state compensation trends and practices.
  • Analytical ability to analyze and explain complex problems; business acumen to understand long-term strategy; consultative approach to working with divisions and HR team.
  • Able to speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations.
  • Ethical standards for dealing with sensitive information; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for Windows.
  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through bachelor’s degree and 3-5 or more years of experience in Compensation/HRIS or equivalent experience.
