Responsible for leading the entire team of marketing strategy and planning professionals that develop high level integrated, multi-channel marketing strategies with the goal of promoting St. Jude’s brand awareness and fundraising efforts. Works closely with the marketing leadership team to ensure the strategy of the St. Jude brand is aligned with the organization’s Strategic Plan and is positioned to positively impact critical brand metrics. Using a deep understanding of research analytics, marketing mix methodologies and brand management, the team develops integrated marketing and communication strategies for significant fundraising and marketing initiatives. Leads a team of marketing strategists in the development and execution of marketing plans for hundreds of fundraising programs and thousands of individual projects annually. Requires excellent attention to detail in order to coach and counsel the team on best-in-class strategy development and detailed project management. Independently leads execution of high-profile projects as delegated by the SVP of Marketing. Uses deep understanding of all marketing channels as well as global brand management to provide day-to-day strategic marketing and communications leadership on marketing strategy. Oversees daily operations of marketing strategy and planning areas. Serves as VP of Marketing in the Senior Vice President’s absence.
