Job Purpose

Responsible for leading and optimizing Employee Engagement donor interactions through a variety of touchpoints including stewardship communications, direct mail and advertising. Responsible for creating and maintaining a best-in-class donor experience on all online payroll pledge platforms. Utilizes online payroll pledge donor data and provides research and analysis of online partner campaigns. Responsible for compiling all elements needed for the Federated fundraising campaign application process. Responsible for defining a clear vision of the donor experience for employee giving and matching gifts donors, which aligns with the overall Employee Engagement business strategy as well as ALSAC’s branding strategy. 


  • Requires a thorough knowledge of marketing research and business strategy
  • Requires experience in research strategy, survey design, sampling methodology and has experience managing a variety of research methodologies including focus groups, in-depth interview and co-creation
  • Requires the ability to utilize and analyze complex sources of data
  • Requires the ability to compile information in a way that is easy for the organization to understand and use
  • Speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external communications
  • Demonstrates problem resolution and strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple, competing projects and allocate resources and time effectively
  • Knowledge normally acquired through a bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of experience in marketing strategy, customer marketing, category management, brand strategy or customer experience
  • Have at least 2-3 years of hands-on marketing research experience and 2-3 years of management or project management experience
  • BA preferred
  • Customer experience management experience preferred
  • Experience developing personas and customer journey maps is preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
