Job Purpose

  • Responsible for providing strategic oversight of key brand marketing efforts, including brand advertising and associated media, and has a strong command of media planning for multi-channel advertising campaigns
  • Able to evaluate a campaign’s success to demonstrate ROI for the business and make informed recommendations for budget allocation and strategy shifts, as needed
  • Responsible for campaign and distribution strategy for a national public service announcement (PSA) campaign
  • Represents the organization at a high level at internal and external meetings, which may include ALSAC leadership, partner CEOs, celebrities and/or VIPs.
  • Responsible for building the underlying strategy to support creative development for advertising and PSA creative, including developing a pipeline of creative that meets brand standards and campaign objectives
  • Uses a strong understanding of research, marketing/channel mix methodologies, brand management and industry best practices to help develop integrated marketing plans
  • Leads strategy development and/or tactical implementation of projects as delegated by the direct supervisor or director of Brand Marketing

Requirements

  • Requires thorough knowledge of marketing best practices in support of ensuring brand integrity
  • Knowledge and experience in emerging marketing platforms and channels including digital (interactive, social and mobile among others)
  • Detailed knowledge of all mediums of communications and tools used in those mediums to include understanding of the research, creation, production and distribution of end products
  • Requires excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within a high performance work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, including ability to speak and write in a clear and understandable manner for internal/external relations; thorough knowledge of English spelling, grammar and usage
  • Ability to understand extremely complex verbal or written instructions
  • Knowledge ordinarily acquired through Bachelor's Degree and at least 5-7 years of experience in Marketing/Communications or a related field and at least 2 years working on one or more integrated, multichannel campaigns that includes an advertising budget
  • Requires a valid driver's license
